Glacier Peak pounds Kamiak | Football

Senior quarterback Ayden Ziomas and the Glacier Peak offense were on target against an overmatched Kamiak squad.

Ziomas completed 13 of 14 passes for 266 yards and six touchdowns to lead the Grizzlies to a 68-13 rout over the Knights in a Wesco 4A football game Friday, Sept. 21, at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Senior running back Caelan Briggs carried the ball 10 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns and senior wide receiver Evan Mannes had five catches for 133 yards and three touchdowns. The Grizzlies (2-0 in the league, 4-0 overall) outgained the Knights 609 yards to 254 and had a 28-11 edge in first downs. Glacier Peak’s defense forced four Kamiak turnovers, while the Grizzly offense did not turn the ball over.
