The Everett Public Schools, in partnership with the City of Mill Creek, will offer a Kaleidoscope Play & Learn group on Mondays beginning Jan. 8 at Mill Creek City Hall North, Large Community Room, 15720 Main St.

The session is scheduled to take place each Monday from 10:30 a.m. until noon following the EPS student calendar. The drop-in playgroup is open to the public and free of charge.

“We are excited to expand our program in South Snohomish County,” said Chad Golden, director of early learning at Everett Public Schools. “Our Play & Learn groups help young children learn how to interact with others and provide a first step for helping prepare children for school.”

The facilitated Play & Learn group helps families prepare their children, birth to age five, for success in school and life. Young children have fun participating in activities and being around their peers before they enter school. They enjoy playing, creating art, telling stories, singing songs and more.
